From January 12 to 13, Chen Jianguang, deputy general manager and member of the Leading Party Group of China Minmetals Corporation and chairman and secretary of the Party Committee of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC Group), visited Xiong'an New Area for the information of MCC Group's subsidiaries serving the new area construction. Chen Jianguang went to Rongxi Concrete Mixing Station project site of China MCC22 Group Corporation Ltd., Lot 31 project site of the southwest "Boot" Pilot Area of MCC Real Estate Group Co., Ltd., and Central Green Valley project site of China MCC5 Group Corp. Ltd. to learn about the safety in production, COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control, and construction progress. He also organized a symposium to listen to the work reports of MCC Investment and Construction Headquarters in Xiong'an New Area as well as MCC Group's subsidiaries, including China ENFI Engineering Co., Ltd. and China ENFI Engineering Corporation, Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Ltd., China MCC5 Group Corp., China Metallurgical Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd., China MCC20 Group Corp., Ltd., China MCC22 Group Corporation Ltd., Shanghai Baoye Group Corp., Ltd. and MCC Real Estate Group Co., Ltd. Chen Jianguang commended all these subsidiaries of MCC Group for their active participation in the construction of Xiong'an New Area, and put forward six requirements for work in the next step based on the actual developments.
First, we must further raise the political stance and strive to serve the millennium plan. The establishment of Xiong'an New Area in Hebei Province is a major historical strategic choice made by the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core. It is also a millennium plan and a great national event. General Secretary Xi Jinping has put painstaking effort into the decision making, planning and advancement of the new area construction. As a centrally administered state-owned enterprise, we should effectively raise our political stance, actively respond to the call of the CPC Central Committee, proactively serve major national strategies, and vigorously participate in the construction of Xiong'an New Area in a bid to make contributions to its development.
Second, we must further strengthen the sense of contract fulfillment and take multiple measures to ensure project completion on schedule. Every project of MCC Group in Xiong'an New Area, featuring much public attention and great social influence, must stand the tests of time and the people. We must implement the requirement of creating "high-quality projects in Xiong'an" in the whole process and all aspects of project construction by further strengthening the sense of contract fulfillment, intensifying refined project management, and making proactive efforts to ensure project completion on schedule.
Third, we should further enhance the overall consciousness and forge stronger synergy. A large number of subsidiaries of MCC Group are involved in the construction of the new area, and each has different characteristics and advantages. MCC Investment and Construction Headquarters in Xiong'an New Area should actively organize the subsidiaries, coordinate related work and fully integrate internal resources to forge strong synergy for development, make every effort to build high-quality projects, benchmark projects and demonstration projects, and continuously expand the group's market share and market influence in the new area.
Fourth, we must further improve the "secondary management" and enhance the profitability of the project. Based on the project construction speed, we must deeply promote project settlement and improve the efficiency of business management while ensuring the greatest effort is put into the project for its early start. We should focus on cost accounting in the whole process of project construction and effectively coordinate business management with production and technology to control costs and increase efficiency.
Fifth, we need to further intensify Party building and integrate the Party's leadership into all links of project management. It is necessary to firmly foster the idea of Party-government coordination and deep integration of their work and deeply integrate Party building with production and operation. We should leverage the role of primary-level Party organizations and Party members in production and operation and project management, and actively recruit outstanding young cadres to the Party organizations. It is a must to promote Party conduct and integrity and safeguard the bottom lines of politics, integrity and operating.
Last, we must further ensure responsibilities are fulfilled by all parties in the work at the end of the year. Persistent efforts should be made to ensure safety in production and COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control during the Spring Festival as well as resumption of business activities and recovery of industries after the festival. As always, we must ensure that rural migrant workers are paid and that the back money of private enterprises is paid off in advance, so that people could have a peaceful and auspicious Chinese New Year festival.
