On August 22nd, MCC Group & MCC Party Committee Deputy Secretary and MCC President Zhang Mengxing met Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. Vice-President Li Jingjing at the MCC Headquarters in Beijing. Both sides held an in-depth exchange of opinions on strengthening their all-round cooperation in such fields as fabricated housing, mineral resource development and equipment manufacturing.
Zhang Mengxing said that MCC Group was one of the earliest central enterprises to “go global” and it now has businesses in 54 countries and regions all over the world, and more than 100 overseas administrative bodies. Among them, there are more than 30 administrative bodies in countries along the “Belt and Road” route. MCC Group has successfully realized a strategic recombination with China Minmetals. The new China Minmetals is the only state-owned capital investment mineral and metal company in China. MCC Group and Sany Heavy Industry have enjoyed a good cooperation relationship for many years. MCC Group is deeply impressed by Sany Heavy Industry's management level, marketing ability, service awareness and transformation and development speed. He hopes that both sides will strengthen their communication and exchange, complement each other’s strengths, realize an alliance of giants, further deepen their all-round cooperation in such fields as fabricated housing, mineral resource development and equipment manufacturing, and jointly open up domestic and foreign markets.
Li Jingjing briefly introduced Sany Heavy Industry’s basic situation with an emphasis on its overseas market development, pointing out that Sany Heavy Industry is in the process of transformation and development. It has acquired many qualifications in banking, insurance, civil-military integration and so on. Its fabricated housing production line accounts for 75% of China’s output and it has fabricated housing projects in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and other countries. Over the past 20 years of “going global”, Sany Heavy Industry has made great progress overseas and achieved localized development. It possesses aluminum, manganese, iron and other mineral resources in Ghana, Gabon, Russia, India and other countries. It also attaches great importance to cooperating with central enterprises and successfully achieving joint development with many central enterprises. Sany Heavy Industry hopes to strengthen its coordination with MCC Group, look for integration points, give full play to their complementary advantages and jointly develop the markets of countries along the “Belt and Road” route.
The meeting was attended by relevant Sany Heavy Industry personnel Zhou Difei, Zhang Tianran, Wang Mengxiao and Zhong Luxi, and relevant MCC Group personnel Zhang Ye, Xu Yongjie, Gao Ling and others.
