On December 5th, MCC Group & MCC Party Committee Deputy Secretary and MCC President Zhang Mengxing met Nanan District Committee Deputy Secretary and Mayor Wang Jun and delegation. Both sides exchanged views on deepening cooperation in municipal transportation infrastructure construction, high-end buildings, theme parks and other fields.
Zhang Mengxing pointed out that at present, the MCC Group has successfully transformed and devoted itself to being the ‘national team of metallurgical construction, the main force of capital construction and the pacesetter of emerging industries, insisting on taking the road of high-tech construction in the long term’. High-end building construction, urban infrastructure, roads, large span steel structure, underground comprehensive pipe galleries and theme parks have become MCC’s advantageous fields and important business sectors. The MCC Group has enjoyed good development momentum in operation revenue, profits and markets in recent years. The Zhuhai Hengqin Underground Comprehensive Pipe Gallery Project that MCC invested in and constructed recently won the country’s only Luban Prize for a pipe gallery project. MCC is the country’s only enterprise to hold the theme park design and construction qualification, and it has established strategic cooperation relationships with American DreamWorks and 21st Century Fox, and Danish LEGO, and completed Singapore Universal Studios, Shanghai Disneyland Park, Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom and other super large-scale cultural theme parks.
Zhang Mengxing said that the relationship between MCC and Chongqing has a long history. Its two strong subsidiaries in Chongqing always make contributions to the city’s development, and Chongqing Municipality is MCC’s important target market and cooperation partner. Prosperous Chongqing leads and sets an example for western development. At present, it has huge development potential and market exploration space. He hopes both sides will enhance their communication and connection, further deepen their full cooperation in municipal traffic infrastructure, high-end building construction, underground comprehensive pipe galleries, theme parks and other fields, and accelerate the implementation of relevant projects. He also hopes that Nanan District will provide MCC with strong support as always.
Wang Jun briefly pointed out that as the main area of Chongqing Municipality, Nanan District has the favorable ecological resource advantages of ‘one river, one mountain, one island and one bay’. It is also a metropolitan industrial area, central business district, international exhibition area and resort district centering on the city. He hopes to speed up Nanan District’s construction of underground comprehensive pipe galleries, high-end business areas, municipal transportation infrastructure, theme parks and other fields by drawing upon the MCC Group’s capital, construction, technological research & development and other advantages, discuss the current most advanced cooperation methods with project carriers, set up new cooperation models, establish a long-term cooperative partnership and support the rapid development of Nanan District in a comprehensive, multi-field and practical way.
