On November 28th, MCC Group & MCC Standing Party Committee Member and MCC Vice President Qu Yang investigated, surveyed and guided the science and technology work of the MCC19 Group, and attended MCC’s Municipal Road and Bridge Engineering Technology Center Acceptance Meeting. The investigation and survey meeting were attended by MCC Science and Technology Department Director Jin Dewei, MCC19 leaders Ou Chenghua, Cai Zhongbin, Duan Meiliang, Hu Weishan, Zhang Faping and Liu Xiwu, and other relevant personnel.
At the investigation and survey meeting, Ou Chenghua briefly introduced the basic production and operation situation of MCC19, and Deputy Chief Engineer Hu Weishan reported MCC19’s science and technology work situation in the four aspects of basic information, features, highlights and the key work in the next step.
After listening to the report, Qu Yang spoke highly of MCC19’s science and technology level, and thanked everyone for their hard work. He then pointed out that with good development momentum in recent years and obvious transformation and upgrading effects, the MCC19 Group shall also particularly consolidate the following work in the direction of helping the market with science and technology: first, it is necessary to remain on top and inherit traditions. As the national team of metallurgical construction, MCC will ‘be the best and restart business again’ in the metallurgical industry, and widely utilize and expand its experience and technologies in the metallurgical construction field into the health maintenance industry and other construction fields, thereby forming unique advantages. Second, it is necessary to grasp the key points and supplement shortages. It is necessary to take root in local and regional markets, do well in tax planning and guarantee the sustainable development of the enterprise. Third, it is necessary to give full play to MCC19’s leading role in science and technology, vitalize its science and technology resources, and promote enterprise development. Fourth, it is necessary to do well in opening sources, reducing expenditure and cleaning up defaults, thereby maintaining the enterprise’s steady development.
Afterwards, Qu Yang attended MCC’s Municipal Road and Bridge Engineering Technology Center Acceptance Meeting which was convened at MCC19, and conducted construction acceptance for MCC’s Municipal Road and Bridge Engineering Technology Center which was constructed by MCC19. At the acceptance meeting, the MCC Group established MCC’s Municipal Road and Bridge Engineering Technology Center at the MCC19 Group, which fully embodies the MCC Group’s high appraisal of MCC19’s achievements in the field of road and bridge construction. He hopes that MCC19 will take this opportunity to focus sharply on the strategic positioning of being the ‘national team of metallurgical construction, the main force of capital construction and the pacesetter of emerging industries, insisting on taking the road of high-tech construction in the long term’, shoulder the heavy task of guiding the MCC Group’s industrial development, master the industry initiative, race to control the competition from the commanding height and start elevating the MCC Group’s brand in the road and bridge field.
