On the afternoon of November 23rd, the MCC Group held the 4th promotion meeting for the Hebei Zongheng Fengnan Steel & Iron Project at the Shanghai Baoye Group’s onsite Project Department Meeting Room. MCC Group & MCC Standing Party Committee Member and MCC Vice President Wang Shilei and Sino Giant Group Board Chairman Sun Jimu attended the meeting and made important speeches.

　　At the meeting, relevant MCC Group personnel and the project’s owner summarized the matters arranged at the last promotion meeting and made arrangements and emphasized the key work of the next stage. Personnel from the Functional Department reported the onsite inspection situation and representatives of the MCC Group’s participating subsidiaries made reports on the project’s progress and problems requiring rapid resolution.

　　Wang Shilei emphasized that the Fengnan Steel & Iron Project is MCC’s most modernized complete metallurgical flow steel & iron base under construction, and a wide stage for MCC to focus on its main business and ‘be the best and restart business again’. All units taking part in its construction shall fully realize the significance and urgency of the project, promote the standards, enhance human resources and safe and civilized construction input, make winter construction plans and New Year's Day and Spring Festival construction plans, adapt to the owner’s requirements, spare no efforts to promote the project’s implementation, guarantee the safety, quality and construction period of the project, and forge it into a model civilized and modernized project with an attitude of high responsibility towards the owner.

　　Sun Jimu thanked the MCC Group’s leadership for the close attention that they have given to the Fengnan Project, then pointed out that it was recently listed by the provincial government as one of 12 supporting projects. He hopes that both sides will communicate more and form a joint force to quickly complete the project’s construction to high standards of quality and obtain win-win results.

　　The promotion meeting was attended by a total of over 70 people including the senior management of the Fengnan Project, MCC Chief Safety Inspector Li Yulong and MCC Project Management Department Deputy Director Wang Hailong, as well as the engineering construction leaders of participating subsidiaries, project leaders and others.
