On February 27th, the Cooperation Conference of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Central Enterprises was held at the National Conference Center in Beijing. MCC Group and China MCC Party Standing Committee Member and China MCC Deputy President Qu Yang was invited to attend and witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between MCC22 and Erlianhaote City.
The conference was sponsored by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Government. It was focused on such key fields as the upgrade of the Autonomous Region’s traditional industries, seven emerging industries, modern service industry development, seven infrastructure construction networks, new urbanization and development of border areas and, and the highlighted introduction of 338 cooperation projects.
During the conference, MCC22 Deputy General Manager Han Bing and Erlianhaote City Mayor Tian Yong signed the Framework Cooperation Agreement of Erlianhaote Cross-Border Economic Cooperation Zone Infrastructure Construction, involving such cooperation projects as comprehensive pipe galleries and roads.
After the conference, Qu Yang and Tian Yong conducted thorough communication about industry cooperation. Qu Yang said that in recent years MCC has carried out the strategic positioning of being the ‘national team of metallurgical construction, the main force of infrastructure construction and the pacesetter of emerging industries, insisting on taking the road of high-tech construction in the long term’, and achieved successful transformation. In the underground pipe gallery field, MCC was the first to establish a professional technology institute, professional company and professional fund enterprise. By virtue of such comprehensive service advantages as its strong technological innovation ability and whole industry chain, MCC has won the bidding for many important comprehensive pipe gallery construction projects in Xi'an, Lanzhou, Changchun, Ruili, Hengshui, Wuzhong, Wuhan, Shenzhen and elsewhere since the country began to promote the construction of underground comprehensive pipe galleries in 2015, with a total mileage of more than 600 km, leading the domestic comprehensive pipe gallery construction market. MCC attaches great importance to its partnership with Erlianhaote, supports MCC22 to show its advantages in such areas as investment and financing, urban construction and management, etc., and jointly promotes the construction of the Erlianhaote Cross-Border Economic Cooperation Zone.
During the conference, Tian Yong pointed out that the Sino-Mongolia Cross-Border Economic Cooperation Zone is an important bilateral construction project designated by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his visit to Mongolia. The Erlianhaote Municipal Party Committee and Government will vigorously provide convenience and support for MCC to invest in projects and develop its business in Erlianhaote, and will actively recommend that MCC22 participates in the construction of the Mongolia section of the Cross-Border Economic Cooperation Zone.
