At 12 a.m. on February 14th (local time), Republic of UzbekistanPresident Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Shanghai Baoye Group’s Uzbekistan120,000-spindleLitai Spinning Mill Project to conduct an inspection.

　　President Mirziyoyev first visited the project’s temporary exhibition hall, listened to the owner’s introduction to the investment and development planning of the next five years, and asked about theprogress in detail. In the process of the inspection, President Mirziyoyev took a keen interest in theShanghai Baoye Group. The accompanying persons made detailed introductions to the basic information of Shanghai Baoye and specially focused on certaininternationally recognizedprojects undertaken by the Group including theBird’s Nest,China’s National Stadium, Baosteel, Central Bank of Kuwait, Dubai Racecourse, etc. President Mirziyoyev gave full affirmation to the project’s appearance, extended his cordial greetings to the front line workers, and entrusted his accompanying officers to pay close attention to the engineering construction progress and actively assist in solving difficulties during project construction, thereby forging a demonstration project of ‘One Belt and One Road’ cooperationbetween China andUzbekistan.

　　This project was invested in and constructed by Jiangsu Jinsheng Industrial Co., Ltd. It is located in Karshi, Kashkadarya of Uzbekistan. The investment scale of the project reaches aspinning and processing capacity of 120,000 spindles, and covers a total construction area of about 140,000m2. It is planned to be completed and put into operation by the end of June this year.

　　Over ten accompanying officers inspected the project, including the Uzbekistan Light Industry Department Minister, Kashkadarya Governor and others.
