On February 23rd, according to the notice of China Minmetals’ major inspection for safety and environmental protection during the first quarter, combining with MCC’s safety production work deployment, MCC Vice President Wang Yongguang led the group’s safety production experts to conduct safety production supervision and inspection for ‘Two Sessions’ before commencement and returning to work for MCC ACRE’s Tangshan Ruhong Coking and Dry Quenching Project and the Water Tank Construction Bid Section A Project of MCC WSGRI’s China Resources Power Caofeidian Power Plant Phase II 2×1,000 MW Ultra-Supercritical Coal-Fired Power Generator Project.
After the inspection team heard the safety work reports of MCC ACRE and MCC WSGRI and conducted onsite inspections, Wang Yongguang put forward concrete safety requirements in terms of project construction features during ‘Two Sessions’, and during the special period before commencement and returning to work:
First, it is necessary for the Project Department to carefully rectify and reform the existing problems aimed at the site and the industry data put forward by experts, and put them into practice; second, it is necessary to fully complete the safety production education and safety inspection acceptance check work before commencement and returning to work; third, it is necessary to carefully identify and conduct dynamic monitoring for sources of danger; fourth, it is necessary to have pertinence and operability for compiled project site emergency disposal schemes; fifth, it is necessary to guarantee the authenticity, reliability and completeness of foundational management; and sixth, it is necessary to include subcontracting safety management into the safety management scope of main contracting, implement comprehensive and standard management for the whole process and strictly supervise subcontracting units to adhere to the construction scheme.
The inspection was participated in by MCC ACRE Vice General Manager Zhang Chengjin and MCC WSGRI Chief Engineer Wan Kaijun, as well as MCC safety experts and related personnel from the Project Department.
