On August 24th, MCC General Manager and Chairman Zhang Zhaoxiang met Bank of Communications Business Director and Beijing Management Department Chairman Lyu Benxian and others at the MCC Headquarters in Beijing. Both parties conversed amicably about further cooperation between bank and enterprise.
Zhang Zhaoxiang welcomed Director Lyu Benxian and thanked the Bank of Communications for the strong support they have offered MCC for many years. He then pointed out that in recent years, MCC has tackled tough problems and fought to save itself, and its business conditions have improved comprehensively. Now, MCC has successfully transformed from the iron and steel metallurgy field to non-steel fields. MCC takes becoming the 'national team of metallurgical construction, the main force of capital construction and the pacesetter of emerging industries, insisting on following the path of high-technology construction in the long term' as its new strategic positioning, its operating performance has maintained steady growth for three consecutive years, its asset quality has improved significantly, its project reserves and sustainable development capacity have steadily increased, and the demands of its project financing and industry funds have also increased constantly. Zhang Zhaoxiang said that the Bank of Communications is one of China's five major State-owned banks, with a wide business range and strong advantages. MCC will deepen its cooperation with the Bank of Communications in more projects in the future. He hopes that both sides will further strengthen their communication and cooperation in related business to achieve mutual benefits and common development.
Lyu Benxian thanked General Manager Zhang Zhaoxiang for his warm reception and pointed out that the Bank of Communications and MCC are old friends with a profound friendship and cooperation partnership spanning many years. In recent years, the operating performance of MCC has climbed despite the grim situation, its business conditions have greatly improved and its business has maintained a steady upward trend. These achievements were not easy. At present, the Bank of Communications has established its Beijing Management Department in the capital to specially serve central enterprises and be responsible for the examination and approval of their business. In the future, the Bank of Communications will further strengthen its business connections with MCC and expand the cooperation scope of both parties, thereby becoming mutually beneficial partners.
