On June 12th, MCC Vice President and Board Secretary Xiao Xuewen made an official visit to Chongqing Deputy Mayor Chen Heping. They held a friendly conversation concerning cooperation in such fields as traffic infrastructure, municipal infrastructure, urban underground pipe networks and the environmental protection industry in Chongqing City.

Xiao Xuewen briefly introduced the situation of the recombination of MCC and China Minmetals, as well as the advantages of MCC in providing comprehensive services in such aspects as municipal infrastructure construction, steel structure, equipment construction, informatization, the environmental protection industry and so on. He then pointed out that MCC possesses specialized capabilities in project technology, unique system integration advantages and the ability to supply integrated solution methods. In recent years, MCC has actively participated in construction in Chongqing. With the help and support of the Chongqing City Party Committee and Municipal Government, MCC will participate further in cooperation on projects including the Chongqing Inner Ring Viaduct, New Megameter Highway, Urban Underground Pipe Gallery, Sponge City, etc.

Chen Heping fully affirmed the comprehensive abilities of MCC, introduced the Grand Blueprint for the construction of Chongqing's future territory and transportation infrastructure, the City's '13th Five Year Plan' development overview and important projects that are planned to be carried out. He then pointed out that CISDI and other MCC subsidiaries have long taken an active part in and supported the construction development of Chongqing. Both parties have developed effective cooperation in many fields such as municipal infrastructure and industrial development. Chongqing pays great attention to its cooperation with MCC, and sincerely hopes that the Group will give full play to its advantages in comprehensive urban solutions, deepen communication in such aspects as traffic infrastructure, municipal infrastructure, urban underground pipe networks and the environmental protection industry, pursue chances for cooperation and work towards achieving win-win situations in the City's construction development and its reasonable return of social capital.
