On May 31st, MCC Group Party Standing Committee Member and Supervisory Committee President Li Shiyu met with Municipal Party Standing Committee Member and Executive Vice Mayor Wu Weidong in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province for an exchange of ideas concerning cooperation in various fields.
Li Shiyu thanked Vice Mayor Wu Weidong for his warm reception and provided a brief introduction of the MCC Group’s development situation, pointing out that the new strategic positioning of the MCC Group is to be the 'national team of China’s metallurgy construction, the main force of capital construction and the pacesetter of emerging industries', possessing advantages in such aspects as the capacity output of China’s steel industry, municipal transportation infrastructure, underground pipe galleries, beautiful village and smart city technology, special theme parks, water environment treatment and so on. Li Shiyu stated that the MCC Group will continue to abide by the simple yet profound MCC spirit of 'Never delaying and never slacking', take solid measures and devote greater efforts to joining Zhangjiakou City in an exploration of the establishment of a cooperation mode that benefits the development of both parties and promotes the implementation of specific projects in various fields.
Wu Weidong welcomed President Li Shiyu and his party and introduced Zhangjiakou City's situations in top-level design, construction planning, industry cluster, investment attraction and so on. He then pointed out that, under the strategic background of the collaborative development of the integration of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Zhangjiakou City is facing the rare development opportunity to migrate Beijing’s non-capital functions and opportunities brought about by the 2022 Olympic Winter Games. Zhangjiakou City sincerely hopes that the MCC Group will give full play to its advantages and strengthen its cooperation with Zhangjiakou City with a high starting-point, every dimension and a deep level. Wu Weidong emphasized that Zhangjiakou City is willing to dedicate itself to cooperating with MCC, promoting healthy development in the relevant industries and economic society of Zhangjiakou and striving to reach win-win results.
