On June 1st, MCC General Manager and President Zhang Zhaoxiang met Chengde Municipal Party Secretary Zhou Zhongming. Both parties held an in-depth conversation in a cordial and friendly atmosphere concerning all-dimensional cooperation between the MCC Group and Chengde City, reaching a consensus to quicken cooperation in highway project construction and other fields.
Zhang Zhaoxiang thanked Secretary Zhou Zhongming for his warm reception and the care and support that the Chengde Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government has offered the MCC Group in the long term. He then pointed out that MCC and Chengde are familiar with each other and trust each other as they have a good development history and cooperation foundation. When discussing the Chengde-Pinggu and Chengde-Kesiketeng Highway Projects, Zhang Zhaoxiang expressed that MCC is confident, determined and capable of completing both projects, and their implementation is expected to be accelerated through the efforts of both parties; furthermore, under a business model that can be accepted by both parties, MCC will continue to take root in Chengde and make great contributions to the City's development. He hopes that both parties will reinforce their cooperation in such industrial development as housing industrialization and new building materials.
Zhou Zhongming welcomed President Zhang Zhaoxiang and his delegation before briefly reviewing the friendly cooperation course between Chengde City and MCC, introducing the current development situation of Chengde City and elaborating on the Chengde-Pinggu and Chengde-Kesiketeng Highway Projects as key points. Zhou Zhongming pointed out that the country’s integrative development strategy is currently being accelerated in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, and traffic and municipal infrastructure, tourism real estate, beautiful village and smart city technology and other industries are booming. This has brought good development opportunities for Chengde City and MCC, and both parties have many chances to cooperate. Zhou Zhongming said that MCC, as a large-scale central enterprise with powerful comprehensive strength, has made important contributions to the development of Chengde City. He hopes that the MCC Group will continue to actively participate in the development and construction of Chengde, fully relying on its own advantages to enable both parties to rise to a new level on the basis of their original cooperation.
