On March 24th, CMCC Vice President Zhang Mengxing went to Xi’an City to meet with Xi’an Vice Mayor Nie Zhongqiu. Both leaders held a meeting in a friendly atmosphere and exchanged views on urban underground pipe gallery and infrastructure construction projects.
Zhang Mengxing expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of Vice Mayor Nie Zhongqiu, and briefly introduced the history and current development situation of MCC. In recent years, the Group has made excellent achievements in domestic infrastructure construction, urban underground pipe galleries and real estate development. Especially in the aspect of urban underground pipe galleries, MCC has successfully applied its technical advantages in metallurgical engineering into civil municipal engineering, and established China’s first research institute of pipe gallery technology, China’s first professional pipe gallery company and China’s first hundred billion-level fund for the urban utility pipe gallery industry. The MCC Group is currently the central enterprise with the best performance, longest accumulative utility pipe gallery mileage, greatest market share and highest technical contents, and the pacemaker of the pipe gallery field capable of formulating national standards.
Zhang Mengxing went on to point out that the MCC Group pays close attention to the expansion of the Shanxi market, and the business of its subsidiaries covers general contracting of construction, real estate development, equipment production and so on. In recent years, such MCC Group subsidiaries as the MCC17 Group have contracted the construction of key projects for the Government and state-owned enterprises in Shanxi Province, making positive contributions to local social and economic development. MCC hopes to carry out broad and deep cooperation with the Xi’an Government in the fields of urban underground pipe galleries, sponge city, smart city and beautiful village technology, large comprehensive venues, real estate, municipal traffic infrastructure and more.
Nie Zhongqiu welcomed the delegation of Vice President Zhang Mengxing, and thanked such subsidiaries as the MCC17 Group for their positive participation in the infrastructure construction of Shanxi Province. He also introduced the urgency of the construction of Xi’an's urban underground pipe galleries and the basic information and cooperation mode of project promotion, and expressed his gladness that such a powerful central enterprise as the MCC Group is willing to participate in the pipe gallery construction of Xi’an. He hopes that MCC will make full use of its technical and capital advantages to jointly promote the construction of Xi'an's urban underground pipe gallery and infrastructure in accordance with the time nodes, thereby realizing mutual benefits, win-win results and common development.
