On March 14th, CISDI won the bidding for the Phase I and Phase II Engineering Environment Supervision Contract of Chengdu Metro Line 5, the Chengdu Metro project with the current largest contract amount. The successful signing of this contract is significant for CISDI in promoting the further expansion of the domestic environment supervision market of municipal rail transit.

Chengdu Metro Line 5 is 49km in length, including 42.25km of underground line, 6.45km of elevated line and 0.3 km of transition sections, and it can respectively transfer 13 urban metro lines. There are 41 stations along the whole line, one comprehensive maintenance base, 2 parking lots and one metro training base. It was commenced towards the end of December 2015, and will be completed and start trial operation in 2019. CISDI will provide environmental consulting and technical services for working areas involved in environmental protection, including civil engineering, post-station engineering and temporary sites along the whole line, and assist and guide the implementation of environmental protection measures.
