On March 9th, MCC General Manager and President Zhang Zhaoxiang met Municipal Party Committee Secretary of Liuan City Sun Yunfei and his delegation at the MCC Headquarters in Beijing, where they held an in-depth discussion concerning further strengthening their cooperation in such areas as municipal transportation infrastructure, underground pipe galleries, beautiful villages, smart cities, sponge cities, ecological project construction and so on, eventually reaching a consensus.

Zhang Zhaoxiang first welcomed Secretary Sun Yunfei and his delegation and briefly introduced the basic information of MCC, pointing out that the Group has presently succeeded in its transformation and has become China’s National Team of metallurgical construction, main force of capital construction and pacemaker of emerging industries. He hopes that Liuan City and MCC will further strengthen their friendship, further expand their cooperative areas and spaces and actively explore new and existing cooperation modes, so as to make greater contributions to the economic and social development of Liuan City.

Sun Yunfei expressed his gratitude for President Zhang Zhaoxiang’s warm reception and gave a brief introduction of Liuan City’s economic development and future planning, pointing out that Liuan City now stands at an important strategic juncture for reformation and development with huge development potential and broad prospects. He hopes that MCC and Liuan City will develop in-depth cooperation in many areas such as municipal transportation infrastructure, underground pipe galleries, beautiful villages, smart cities, sponge cities and ecological project construction, so as to achieve win-win results and mutual development.
