The Liangxiang Wastewater Treatment Plant in Fangshan District, Beijing, was invested, constructed, and operated by MCC Eco-Environmental's subsidiary Enfei Environmental in September 2002. With a capacity of 100,000 tons per day, it is one of China's earliest wastewater treatment BOT projects and among the first to meet the Surface Water Standard III. It remains the largest wastewater treatment plant in Fangshan District. The Liangxiang Plant is a comprehensive eco-friendly and renewable energy demonstration project, integrating 6 functions: wastewater treatment, reclaimed water utilization, photovoltaic power generation, sludge disposal, water-source heat pumps, and smart water management.
