The geological environment restoration project of the Sanhe East Mining Area in Langfang City, Hebei Province, undertaken by MCC SKET, is the largest above-ground mine restoration project in Hebei Province. The total restoration area is approximately 6.95 km2, of which 83.2% is affected by topographical and geomorphological damage. The project has transformed the entire eastern mine into a green area by taking measures such as disaster mitigation, high-level land clearing and low-level land filling, and soil covering and greening. It has added and restored 5,435 mu of usable land resources and green land, effectively eliminating geological disaster risks, improving the green ecological environment, and contributing to the development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
