Qinghai Yushu Prefecture 50.5 MW Photovoltaic Poverty Alleviation Project during the 13th Five-Year Plan Period

The 50.5 MW village-level photovoltaic poverty alleviation project in Yushu Prefecture, Qinghai Province, which was constructed by MCC WSGRI during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, is the highest altitude photovoltaic power station in China, with an average altitude of 4,300 m. After the project was put into operation, it benefited 7,268 registered poor households in 104 impoverished villages. It is reported that the total scale of the village-level photovoltaic poverty alleviation project in Qinghai Province during the 13th Five-Year Plan period is 471.6 MW, covering 1,622 impoverished villages in 39 counties (cities and districts) across the province. It is the largest, most concentrated, most effective, and longest-lasting industrial poverty alleviation project in the field of poverty alleviation to date.
