The soil remediation project for the Hangzhou Iron and Steel Former Site Park, constructed by WISDRI, employs technologies such as thermal desorption, leaching, brick kiln co-processing, cement kiln co-processing, vertical and horizontal barrier treatment for different types of pollution. The project remediated a total of 124,000 m3 of contaminated soil, covering an area of ​​33,000 m2. It significantly improved the soil environment of the site, provided strong support for the construction of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal National Park and the China Grand Canal Cultural Belt, witnessed the transformation of an old industrial site into a new urban landmark, and promoted the protection of the Yangtze River.
