The Wenyu River Basin Pollution Prevention and Control Project, constructed by WISDRI, is a project funded by the central government's special environmental protection funds. It involves the comprehensive treatment of pollution sources such as abandoned mines and waste ore piles, as well as polluted groundwater. Through independent research and development and design, WISDRI has creatively proposed a system solution of "source control + end-of-pipe treatment + ecological reconstruction" in China, which has successfully achieved source control, long-term effectiveness, low consumption and ecological benefits, improved the water quality of 36.1 square kilometers of downstream watershed, and provided strong protection for the safety of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project's water source.
