The waste-to-energy incineration project in Hanoi, Vietnam, constructed by MCC1, covers an area of over 170,000 m2 and processes 4,000 tons of municipal solid waste per day. It is the largest waste-to-energy incineration plant in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, and the second largest municipal solid waste incineration power plant in the world to be built and put into operation in one go. By applying a number of environmental protection technologies, it achieves "all-round" green treatment and reuse of slag, gas, water and flue gas, thereby improving the goal of municipal solid waste treatment.
