The surveying and mapping project for the Ningxia-Gansu-Shaanxi section of the main crossing project of the middle section (Zhongwei-Ji'an) of the West-East Gas Pipeline III, undertaken by Shen Kan Engineering & Technology Corporation, MCC, (MCC SKET) covers a total length of 900 km. The West-East Gas Pipeline III is a strategically important energy transportation artery that spans ten provinces (regions) across China's border, inland, and coastal areas. With a total length of 7,378 km for its trunk and branch lines, it adds 30 billion m3 of natural gas supply annually, benefiting hundreds of millions of people, promoting energy structure optimization and energy conservation and emission reduction, expanding domestic demand, and supporting and boosting economic and social development.
