The MCC's inspection team undertook the containment integrity inspection for the "Hualong One" pilot project (Fuqing Unit 5). China has developed the advanced million-kilowatt-class pressurized water reactor nuclear power technology based on over 30 years of nuclear power experience and it represents completely independent intellectual property rights as a third-generation pressurized water reactor innovation. It achieves a balance between advancement and maturity, safety and economic efficiency, and incorporates both active and passive systems, giving it a competitive advantage in the international market.
