During the May Day holiday, Chen Yang, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China MCC, conducted an onsite safety inspection at key ongoing projects. He extended cordial greetings and sincere regards to all frontline workers and staff who remained steadfast at their posts during the holiday period.  

On May 1, Chen Yang conducted an on-site inspection of the highway approach project for the Chaohu-Ma'anshan Intercity Railway Yangtze River Highway-Rail Bridge, undertaken by China MCC17 Group. He examined project progress, safety and quality protocols, civil construction standards, and commercial management practices in detail, and issued specific directives for subsequent work: first, reinforcing the comprehensive implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important directives and instructions on workplace safety, steadfastly adhering to the principles of prioritizing the people and safeguarding lives, rigorously managing Work Safety, and maintaining a constant sense of vigilance in developing contingency plans and response measures for flood season safety, seasonal hazards, and extreme weather conditions; second, enhancing overall project planning and execution capabilities by rigorously applying the "Project Management Manual" and "Commercial Management Manual" at the team level and to individual responsibilities, while consistently ensuring timely payments to small and medium enterprises and migrant workers, thereby guaranteeing the project's completion as a high-quality benchmark; third, strictly enforcing the requirements for comprehensive governance of the Party, embedding integrity and transparency throughout the entire project management lifecycle, advancing the construction of clean projects and incorruptible engineering processes, and thereby supporting the project's enhanced efficiency and effectiveness, steady market expansion, and sustained brand reputation improvement.  

On April 30, Chen Yang conducted an on-site inspection of the North Campus Project (Lot 1) of the Beijing Palace Museum, undertaken by Shanghai Baoye. He examined construction progress, site management, hazard rectification, civil construction standards, and emergency preparedness. Subsequently, he issued the following explicit requirements for subsequent work: First, elevating political awareness by thoroughly studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on work safety, establishing and practicing a correct approach to performance achievements, and delivering a century-spanning benchmark project that withstands historical and public scrutiny at the highest standards. Second, strengthening contract compliance management by rigorously executing the "Project Management Manual" and scientifically coordinating schedule milestones to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery. Third, enhancing commercial management by meticulously implementing lifecycle responsibility cost control and continuously improving project profitability. Fourth, improving engineering quality by targeting excellence and awards, resolutely implementing the "six 100% requirements" to fortify the project's quality lifeline. Fifth, consolidating safety responsibilities by intensifying safety management planning, enforcing the work safety management system, and adhering strictly to safety baselines and red lines. Sixth, reinforcing emergency prevention and control by completing the emergency plan system, ensuring duty staffing during holidays, and effectively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers. Seventh, adhering to the leadership of Party building by advancing comprehensive governance of the Party with rigor, striving to build a clean demonstration project and fostering a political environment of integrity and transparency.
