According to the important instructions given by General Secretary Xi Jinping on the epidemic and the spirit of the video conferencing held by the State Council's joint prevention and control mechanism on January 20, China Minmetals and MCC urgently deploy the prevention and control on the epidemic, and call on leaders and employees of all enterprises in Wuhan to work together so as to fight against the epidemic.

　　On January 23, Guo Wenqing, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of China Minmetals and Chairman of MCC, made important instructions on the prevention and control on the epidemic. He pointed out that the fight against the epidemic is very tough. He hoped that various enterprises should attach great importance to the prevention and control of the epidemic, pay close attention to the epidemic situation, effectively put the lives and health of employees first, improve emergency organizations, formulate detailed plans, improve communication mechanisms and take effective measures to support and cooperate with the local government to curb the spread of the epidemic, and bear the political and social responsibilities of a central enterprise so as to play active role in maintaining social stability. Leaders at all levels, especially those who are in charge of various enterprises, are the first responsible persons for the prevention and control of the epidemic. They must improve their political stance and awareness of risk prevention to prevent and control the epidemic with the attitude of being responsible for the Party and the country, enterprises and employees.

　　Zhang Zhaoxiang, Deputy General Manager of China Minmetals, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of MCC, and Zhang Mengxing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of MCC, have repeatedly called on Wuhan enterprises at all levels to improve their political stance, and establish the bottom-line thinking to effectively bear their responsibilities and obey orders so as to ensure the health and safety of employees.

　　On the morning of January 23, China First Metallurgical Group Co., Ltd. held a special meeting on the prevention and control of the epidemic and deployed the prevention and control work in detail. It set up the leading group for prevention and control of the epidemic which took the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman as the group leader, and General Manager and Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary as the deputy group leader, and set up the shift system. The company took the lead to be on duty, and in the meantime required various subsidiaries and departments to set up the shift system to ensure daily monitoring on the epidemic, information tracking for people who left Wuhan, and unimpeded access to information. The leading group of China First Metallurgical Group Co., Ltd. and the heads of various subsidiaries and departments attended the meeting.

　　On January 23, WISDRI held an emergency meeting to specially deploy the prevention and control work for the epidemic, and urgently set up the leading group for prevention and control of the epidemic which was composed of company leaders and assistants to coordinate various tasks, implement responsibility at various levels, strictly implement localization management, and focus on epidemic monitoring and information reporting as well as joint prevention and control so as to ensure lives and health for employees.

　　On January 23, WSGRI held a special emergency conference to actively deploy the prevention and control work on the epidemic, and set up a response organization to formulate early warning plans, smooth communication mechanisms, improve safeguard measures, and seriously study plans for resumption of work after the Spring Festival. It put employees' lives and health first and strove to win the final victory against the epidemic.

　　Various functional departments of the MCC headquarters resolutely bore the political responsibility and recognized the extreme importance and urgency for prevention and control of the epidemic, and made it a top priority to ensure the orderly progress of prevention and control for the epidemic during the Spring Festival.
