On January 22, Guo Wenqing, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of China Minmetals, and concurrently Chairman of MCC, led a team to China 22MCC Group's National Assembly Construction Industry Base for visits and surveys, and sent New Year greetings to the frontline staff members.
The feeling of immeasurable joy and warmth touches everyone through smiles and handshaking. Guo Wenqing and the team visited the prefabricated component production workshop, the industrial design and research center, the prefabricated concrete laboratory building and the second phase of the prefabricated construction industrial base that is under construction of China 22MCC Group, and asked and learned about the detail progress and achievements made by China 22MCC Group in promoting prefabricated buildings in recent years, especially in the research and development of core technologies and industrial design of green buildings of MCC. Guo Wenqing extended New Year greetings to the staff members who still hold their posts on the frontline of production during the Spring Festival, and encouraged everyone to continue to carry forward the spirit of bravely taking responsibility and overcoming difficulties to build the prefabricated building brand of MCC with capabilities, so as to continuously push forward the cause of China Minmetals and MCC.
At the survey discussion, Guo Wenqing listened to the report of China 22MCC Group on the production and operation work in 2019, the resolution and disposal of historical problems, the payment of wages to migrant workers and the working ideas for the next step. Guo Wenqing said that through several years of adjustments and recombination, China 22MCC Group has gradually stepped out of difficulties and embarked on the road of healthy development. In the future, China 22MCC Group should firmly seize the historical opportunity of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development, especially that of the construction of Xiong'an New Area, to stride forward. Guo Wenqing put forward four clear requirements for the future development of China 22MCC Group.
First, the leadership should be energetic, bravely take responsibility, and always maintain the passion of accomplishing the great cause. Only when the leadership is willing to, desire to, and work to accomplish the great cause, can they have the mission bearing in mind and undertake responsibilities, and can they come up with ways to overcome all difficulties. We should always be loyal to our faith and maintain passion at the bottom of our hearts to never delay or slack off for better work and future. In particular, the leadership should have a passion for accomplishing the cause and starting a business, and transmit and implement the spirit of "being energetic and bravely taking responsibility", so that the staff can truly be imperceptibly influenced by such passion to create greater value in the future development of the enterprise.
Second, we should inherit and carry forward the glorious tradition and solve the historical problems of the enterprise. Good practices and experience of the enterprise in dealing with historical problems should be passed on, while the enterprise should also conscientiously learn from failures to avoid taking the wrong path. We should look forward, never have an undue discussion over historical issues and burdens, never rest on our laurels and never fetter our development. The new leadership should carry out the division of responsibilities, practically shoulder difficulties, actively solve problems, formulate special work plans, work with every effort to come up with ways to actively and steadily resolve historical problems and burdens of the enterprise.
Third, we should continue to adhere to the road of high-quality development and help the enterprise to achieve leapfrog development. The main operating indicators of China 22MCC Group in 2019 have experienced ups and downs, showing a sound development trend in overall. China 22MCC Group is steadily moving forward on the road of high-quality development. In particular, the basic ideas of the proposed "Four Never" and "Four Persistence" measures are right. The development of enterprises cannot rely on the desperate path of high debts and advancing funds to private enterprises. Especially when dealing with private enterprises, we should pay attention to the well-defined power and responsibility, handle the relationship between "emotion" and "reason" well, and help the enterprise to realize leapfrog development.
Fourth, we should strengthen stable and reliable sources of orders based on deep development of the regional market in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. In recent years, China 22MCC Group has continuously restored and consolidated its absolute advantage and leading position in Hebei's metallurgical market, and has developed Hebei's market in depth based on the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Such a move deserves affirmation. In the future, China 22MCC Group should make full use of Hebei's geographical advantages, keep a close eye on Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development, especially a series of major projects such as Xiong'an New Area construction and development of coastal area of Caofeidian, continue to forge ahead and create a new situation for the enterprise in marketing. The next step for the enterprise is to assign special personnel to negotiate with the Zunhua Municipal Government on more specific measures conducive to the development of the prefabricated building base. It is necessary to make use of the advantages of China 22MCC Group National Prefabricated Construction Industry Base, give full play to the characteristics of the prefabricated building such as being economically affordable and environment-friendly, and having shorter time of construction, and continue to expand the application field of the prefabricated building.
Guo Wenqing finally stressed that he hoped in the new year, the leadership of China 22MCC Group would unite and cooperate with exemplary conduct and nobility of character, and all staff members would make persistent efforts and continue to work hard to rebuild the glory of the enterprise.
