On November 4, the Opening Ceremony of Shenzhen International Exhibition & Convention Center and 2019 Shenzhen International Intelligent Equipment Industry Expo (EeIE) and 2019 Baoan Industry Development Expo (B-EXPO) was held in Shenzhen. Zhang Zhaoxiang, member of the Party Group and deputy general manager of China Minmetals, Secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of MCC & China MCC and Wang Shilei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of MCC & China MCC, vice president of China MCC, were invited to attend. During the stay in Shenzhen, Zhang Zhaoxiang and others investigated the integrated pipe gallery and road integration project in the start-up area of the Airport New City contracted by MCC, and met with Xin Jie, chairman of Shenzhen Metro.
Wang Weizhong, deputy secretary of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee, announced the operation of Shenzhen International Exhibition & Convention Center, as well as the opening of 2019 EeIE and 2019 B-EXPO. Chen Rugui, mayor of Shenzhen City, delivered a speech. Chen Rugui said that Shenzhen would take the opening of the International Exhibition & Convention Center as a new starting point, adhere to the international, market-oriented, professional and brand-oriented exhibition direction, actively strive to be the world's highest, best and best, work with all sectors of society, and make great efforts to use top hardware facilities, management level and service quality to accelerate the establishment of an international first-class exhibition platform that will radiate the bay area, serve the whole country and face the world, and give better play to the radiation driving role as Shenzhen's core engine.
After the ceremony, Zhang Zhaoxiang and Wang Shilei visited the exhibition of EeIE and B-EXPO successively. Aiming at being the first exhibition of intelligent equipment in the world, the EeIE this year focused on displaying the advanced enterprises in the field of intelligent manufacturing and their latest technological innovation achievements with the theme of "Intelligence Changes Future and Industry Promotes Development". With the theme of "Core of the Greater Bay Area, The Highland of Intelligent Innovation and Shared Home", the B-Expo had set up seven exhibition areas, including smart manufacturing and Sino-German (European) cooperation demonstration exhibition, etc., striving to speed up the construction of world-class advanced manufacturing industry cluster and create a "highland of intelligent innovation" driven by innovation and high-quality development in the demonstration pilot zone.
Subsequently, Zhang Zhaoxiang along with his delegation investigated the integrated pipe gallery and road integration project in the start-up area of Airport New City which built by jointly successful bidders, China MCC20 Group Corp., Ltd. and CISDI Group Co., Ltd. (CISDI). Zhang Zhaoxiang highly affirmed staff's hard-working and their passion on the project, and encouraged them to overcome difficulties and lead new progress. Not only should the brilliant achievements of MCC people be recorded in the history of the world's largest international exhibition & convention center, but also the glorious history of Shenzhen People's construction of the first demonstration pilot zone for socialism with Chinese characteristics, which was a new power to promote Shenzhen's brave undertaking Mission and reform and opening up.
Airport New City was the largest municipal subsidiary project serving Shenzhen International Exhibition & Convention Center, including 19 roads with a total length of about 29 kilometers, 8 underground comprehensive pipe galleries with a total length of about 17 kilometers and 24 bridges, which constituted the "artery" connecting the Exhibition & Convention Center, and would provide long-term management, maintenance and repair of municipal pipelines in the gallery, such as power, communication, gas, water supply and drainage, etc. On the eve of the opening of the Center, China MCC20 Group Corp., Ltd. made scientific deployment and planed the completion time of each stage, fighting for nearly 500 hours day and night for the solid guarantee of its smooth opening.
During the stay in Shenzhen, Zhang Zhaoxiang, along with his delegation, also met with Xin Jie, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shenzhen Metro Group for friendly communication and in-depth discussions on how to jointly promote existing cooperation projects and continuously deepen all-round and multi-field cooperation.
Firstly, Zhang Zhaoxiang expressed sincere thanks to Shenzhen Metro Group for its long-term concern, support and help for the development of MCC, and briefly introduced the current business development situation and the next development plan. He pointed out that Shenzhen was a good place for the development and expansion of the urban rail transit business of MCC. Based on the existing projects, MCC would continue to carry forward the spirit of "Waste no day and never stop progressing", give full play to the advantages of the company in management, technology, talents, etc., fully support and invest in the construction of Shenzhen Metro, and provide first-class services for the urban rail transit development in Shenzhen with the best quality and performance, looking forward to promoting the friendly cooperation to a wider field and a deeper level.
Xin Jie welcomed Zhang Zhaoxiang and his delegation, and fully recognized the brand building, high quality and strong strength of MCC. He stressed that as the business of Shenzhen Metro was open, in the future, Shenzhen Metro would continue to improve its standardized management level and advance its professional services. It was hoped that MCC was willing to continue to carry forward its traditional advantages, firmly secure safety and quality, improve the risk prevention and control system, and strive to build a Model Project; it was also expected to strengthen cooperation with MCC in relevant fields, and jointly contribute to the centennial infrastructure construction plan in Shenzhen and its quality improvement.
