On April 26, Chen Jianguang, Deputy General Manager and Member of the Party Leadership Group of China Minmetals, Secretary of the CPC Committee of MCC, and Chairman of MCC and China MCC, investigated the work of MCCI on "Growth Stabilizing, Anti-epidemic and Safety Maintaining" via video link. Chen Jianguang acknowledged the development achievements made by MCCI in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in recent years and put forward five requirements for works on reform and development in the next step.
First, set up high standards and strict requirements to secure a good start. Being in the initial stage of entrepreneurial development endows MCCI with a promising development space; in light of this, it should put forward higher goals and stricter requirements for better development in terms of enterprise scale, business quality and fine management, insist on benchmarking with the advanced force of the industry, improve the business layout, and strengthen the basic management and consolidate the development achievements of the enterprise, in order to continuously grow stronger, better and bigger.
Second, improve the system to build team forces and lay a solid foundation. More efforts should be made to strengthen system construction, and ensure that system building, institutional optimization and responsibility system for personnel training are fully implemented. Team building should also be intensified, with incentive and restraint mechanisms being strengthened through comprehensive performance assessment and contract management being achieved at all levels, to create a fair and just working atmosphere for all. Leaders should both exercise strict discipline and show kindness to employees, avoid wavering and carry out their duties, and should remain true to their conviction to firmly guard the bottom line of politics, professionalism, and integrity.
Third, consider the bigger picture with a long-term vision and build platforms. With a focus on comprehensive and key high-tech projects, work should be done to strengthen the top-level design and explore the market in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to fully unlock the potential of and be a leading force in the South China market. Joint efforts should also be made to spread MCC's brand reputation across the South China region by actively playing the role of the platform and strengthening internal cooperation and interaction.
Fourth, strengthen Party building while building brands and promoting integration. Leaders should earnestly implement the relevant work requirements of the Leading Party Group of China Minmetals and the CPC Committee of MCC, and comprehensively promote the deep integration of Party building and production and operation; they should use their abilities and effectiveness to the best within the frame of rules and requirements, and build a distinctive brand of "Party building +"; they should closely rally young people around the Party through high-quality Party building works and build a thriving elite team dedicated to the Party.
Fifth, maintain safety and ensure epidemic prevention and control while stabilizing growth. Acts should be taken under extreme prudence and caution to ensure work safety and the detailed implementation of work safety-related tasks, so as to achieve the safe and smooth operation of the project; careful and unrelenting efforts should be made to strictly implement measures on epidemic prevention and control and further build a tight protection network for it; measures for resuming work and production should be fully implemented to ensure that all targets and tasks for this year will be fulfilled.
