China Jingye Engineering Construction Contraction Corp. (CJYC) announced recently that it had invented a heat-accumulating type round kiln for glass pot and been granted with the Utility Model Patent, with a purpose to make appropriate utilization of energies and protect the environment.
From the viewpoint of technology, the heat-accumulating type round kiln for glass pot has resolved quite a few problems in relation to the balance of air/flue gases inside the combustion chamber, material quality of burner block and the heat preservation of the kiln shell. In view of the damageable characteristics of the crucible during the production process as well as the feature of the glass liquid, a liquid discharge outlet is designed at the bottom of the kiln, through which the seeper tank could be cleared aperiodically.
Applied with regenerative combustion technology, the round kiln for glass pot is featured by: (i) easy for operation and temperature control; (ii) temperature uniformity inside the kiln; (iii) dramatic reduction of energy consumption; (iv) remarkable decreasing on intensity of labor for the operators; (v) improvement of working environment; and (vi) zero pollution on the whole. According to incomplete statistics in comparison with the traditional pot kiln, by utilizing regenerative combustion technology and natural gas as the fuel, the innovated round kiln for glass pot could save 2 tons of coal during one production cycle, with an energy reduction ration of over 60%, as well as notable social and economic benefits. Now this technology has been successfully applied in the furnace and kiln engineering for glassware.
