Chairman Jing Tianliang of MCC Group and MCC Limited and his delegation members met with Governor Wang Jun of Shanxi Provincial Government on August 18, 2010. Vice Governor Chen Chuanping and the other concerned officials were also present at the meeting.
Governor Wang Jun gave a welcome to Chairman Jing Tianliang and his visiting delegation. According to Wang, Shanxi Province made significant advances in sustaining economic growth, ensuring people's well-being and maintaining stability in recent years (especially since last year). Such achievement is mainly due to the conscientious implementation of the decisions and arrangements made by the central government on tackling the global financial crisis, accelerating economic restructuring and transformation of economic development patterns. At present, the complete province is endeavoring: (i) fulfill the targets and tasks as per the 11th-Five-Year Plan; (ii) meticulously map out the 12th-Five-Year Plan; (iii) accelerate the economic restructuring and great-leap-forward development; and thus (iv) establish Shanxi into one of the top provinces in terms of economy and culture in the middle of China. The Governor added that, Shanxi Province shared a perfect collaboration foundation with MCC Group. He expected MCC Group to give a full play of its advantages and actively participate the key infrastructure works and major industrial projects in Shanxi Province, as well as to expand the cooperative fields and achieve common prosperity. To this end, Shanxi Province will creat a sound business environment and offer quality and efficient services.
Chairman Jing expressed gratitude to CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee and Shanxi Provincial Government for the great concern and long-standing support extended to MCC Group. He gave a brief introduction to the reform and development progress of MCC Group in recent years. Jing stated that, MCC Group and its subsidiaries would take an active part in the construction of infrastructure works, major industrial projects and affordable housing projects in Shanxi Province, and made contribution to the economic restructuring and great-leap-forward development of Shanxi.
Chairman Zhang Peiyi of MCC Tiangong Construction Co., Ltd. (CMTCC) and the relevant staff of the company also attened the meeting.
