MIIT Officials Inspect MCC Meili Pulp & Paper

An official delegation from Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) conducted an inspection visit to Meili Industrial Park on August 9, 2010. The delegation was headed by Director Zhangli of Consumable Dept. Director Wang Xin of MCC Meili Pulp & Paper accompanied the MIIT officials during the visit. Zhang Li and her delegatoin members visited the Viewing Deck, Longgong Lake, the paperboard workshop and the new products display hall of the Pulp & Paper Company. And the officials placed a high premium on Meili’s great efforts made for development of recycling economy.
The delegation especially inspected the water cyclic utilization works. Zhang Li gave a full recognition on the measures taken by Meili for environment protection, for instance, no discharge of sewage into the Yellow River and forest planting. Zhang also told the delegation members that, “The State Government has promulgated quite a few supportive policies for afforestation project in the West of China, the relevant enterprises, however, might not be quite clear about the details. So you must provide consultation to the outstanding companies such as MCC Meili, which has made essential contribution to the environment protection. In this way, we shall try our best to enable them to enjoy the preferential policies.”
