Chairman Tian Ye of 19MCC Group welcomes Dr. Saifuddin Junejo
Dr. Saifuddin Junejo, Acting Consul General/Commercial Counselor at Consulate General of Pakistan in Chengdu, conducted an inspection visit to the 19th China Metallurgical Construction Group (19MCC Group) on March 2, 2010. Chairman Tian Ye and Vice General Manager Ding Xiaobo of 19MCC Group met with the guests and held cordial discussion on matters of mutual interest. The relevant division heads of 19MCC Group were also present at the meeting.
Dr. Saifuddin Junejo made a briefing on the domestic political situation and the current status and prospect of economic development of Pakistan. He learned in details the implementation progress of projects contracted by 19MCC Group in his country and placed a high premium on the remarkable contribution made by 19MCC Group to Pakistan. Dr. Saifuddin Junejo pointed out that, the economy was developing at the relatively low speed in Pakistan, with quite a lot infrastructures (for instance road and bridge) to be improved. In view of the plenty of commercial opportunities, he strongly recommended 19MCC Group to make investigation in Pakistan and strive for more key projects in this country. And Dr. Saifuddin Junejo also expected 19MCC Group to further strengthen the mutual collaboration and thus add a new chapter for the everlasting friendship among the people of both Pakistan and China.
Vice General Manager Ding Xiaobo gave a brief introduction on the corporate profile of 19MCC Group to the visiting delegation, including the corporate nature, organization structure, subsidiaries, industrial structure, core business, professional capability and project experiences in foreign countries. With regard to the two key projects mentioned by Dr. Saifuddin Junejo, which are being commenced in Pakistan, Ding learned the project details and exchanged views with the delegation members. At the conclusion, he expressed the sincere wish to carry out cooperation in this regard.
